This is some example text. If you care to notice, only the pieces of text with a span around them are underlined/highlightable.
Highlightable? Is that a word? If you've been extremely perceptive, you may have noticed that I am completely rambling. It's not that I hate Lorem Ipsum, I just think with things like this it's much more entertaining to have typed text that actually sounds like a conversation.
Funny thing is, I always thought this was some overly-complicated thing, something only the very best CSS gurus would know after completing their training and solemnly climbing mount Doom to get the scroll of forbidden-text-underlining.
But isn't that how it just seems to go with programming? Everything seems like magic at the beginning, and then... that never really goes away.
I mean, really it's kind of cool. There's always something new to learn.
